About Emma Riley (She/Her)

When I was in school, I frustrated my teachers by asking too many questions about how things were made and why. Now, I get to ask those questions for a living. I’m an Experience Designer who enjoys talking to users, visualizing data, and co-designing solutions with a team. I strive to listen fully, to remain active and interested in the world around me, and to pay what I learn forward—in work and in life. Currently, I am on a work sabbatical. I have been spending my time volunteering, working on a personal project—Love Letters to St. Louis, and traveling in Guatemala and Mexico. In my previous role at Bayer, my day-to-day activities ranged from sketching and building web comps to data visualization to collaborative team problem-solving.
