Direct responsibility for the Group’s regulatory engagement with APRA, ASIC, the RBA, the ASX and the BCCC, with oversight of all other domestic and offshore regulatory relationships to enable Group-wide consistency. SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS: Led the team responsible for managing Westpac Group’s engagements with APRA and the RBA. Strengthened internal and external stakeholder relationships requiring attention following organisational change.RESPONSIBILITIES: Communicated prudential expectations and priorities to internal stakeholders to ensure timely action. Provided insights on regulatory matters across the portfolio.

SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS: Established and led the Chief Transformation Office’s “Data and Regulatory Integration” function within Westpac's Consumer Division. Led multi-disciplinary teams to deliver significant regulatory, compliance and data governance initiatives, including Group-wide regulatory change programs, within budget, in-scope and on time. Articulated “problem statement” clearly and simply to stakeholders, aligning intent with business and customer outcomes. Recognised as a leader who cut through complexity and enabled others to deliver positive results.RESPONSIBILITIES: Brought together diverse perspectives and skillsets to translate regulatory and legislative change into deliverable scope. Enabled the design and delivery of sustainably compliant solutions leveraging data-driven insights. SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Established operating rhythm for the Consumer Chief Product Office. Enabled effective leadership engagement and Groupwide stakeholder management. Provided targeted input to expedite key strategic projects, including ApplePay.

SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Developed strategic roadmap of value-added online services beyond “core banking” with a view to connecting business customers to a broader digital ecosystem. Established the digital marketplace. Enabled customers to share transaction information with accounting software providers. Launched "Biz Invoice" (the first online invoicing tool hosted by an Australian bank).

SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Chosen via competitive process to contribute "diversity of thought" and a non-banking perspective to Westpac’s senior leadership. As Open Banking Lead in the Consumer Division and Institutional Bank, advised senior stakeholders on open banking implications and opportunities to leverage regulatory change and compliance obligations relating to the Consumer Data Right.

Served as a Board Observer on the Australian Spatial Analytics Board, a registered not-for profit social enterprise dedicated to training and employing neurodiverse adults in the field of data analytics. Provided suggestions to uplift management reporting, including risk register; prepared notes of meetings.

SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS: Significant experience engaging with the ACCC and ASIC in relation to investigations and enforcement proceedings, merger clearance, regulatory matters (energy and telco) and industry codes of conduct. Advised clients regarding digital technology and mobile payments, including representing Gilbert + Tobin at the 2014 World NFC Congress (Marseille, France). Led development of “lawtech” merger tool. RESPONSIBILITIES: Advised and led legal and business teams to respond to complex, time-critical matters. Provided legal advice regarding competition and regulatory matters relating to financial services, technology, telecommunications, digital, media, construction, travel and retail.

Advised on competition and regulatory issues in the financial services, construction / mining and pharmaceutical sectors. Key matter: international construction JV clearance (synergies of £60M).
