Facilities Management

Worked as an intern for JMU’s Facilities Management to map campus micro-watersheds, digitize campus infrastructure, and calculate the university’s permeable and impermeable surface area. This project was used to satisfy a requirement for the university’s MS4 permit. Concurrently, I worked on a utility data collection project using ArcGIS Online and the ArcGIS Collector App with the goal of starting an inventory of virtually every water-related feature on campus (i.e. hydrants, manhole covers, drains, etc). These project deliverables were used as internal tools that could be referenced by JMU staff both in the office and in the field.
