Supporting our donors – I use Raisers Edge on a daily basis to monitor who is supporting us and how they are supporting us. I then keep in touch with those individuals on a regular basis before and after their event. ARCHIE in Africa appealAs part of my promotion, my role was to include having management of our new school fundraising appeal, ARCHIE in Africa. This was to fundraise for our twin hospital in Uganda. As part of this role I had responsibility for… Contacting schools to encourage them to sign up to our appeal from two school areas.  Delivering assembly’s at as many registered schools as possible to provide them with information about what we were fundraising for Keeping in regular contact with each school to encourage them with their fundraising  Creating resources for schools to use to aid their fundraising  In the first year of the appeal we raised enough money to build Uganda’s first ever paediatric operating theatre. In our second year we purchased neonatal ventilators with money raised.

This is an annual ARCHIE run event.The Kilt Walk - The ARCHIE Foundation were a charity partner last year for the Kilt Walk at the Deeside and Speyside walks which involved running a pit stop on the day as well as promoting the event to our supportersThe Grand Challenge - . This is an annual ARCHIE run virtual challenge. I was involved in recruiting teams of ten to take part in our virtual challenge who used pedometers to each complete 1000 miles around Scotland. More information can be viewed on our custom made website:http://www.archieschallenge.org.uk/Beards for Bairns - Between Christmas Day and Burns night we ask local men to grow a beard for ARCHIE. In 2013/13 we had 50 men taking part, in 2013/14 we had an amazing 516 men involved! This was a massive achievement for our team!
