I'm an accomplished and connected music industry professional with over 15 years of experience. I have been a key supporter of the Tileyard North project and am excited to officially join the team. My passion for music, creativity, and community-building drives my work.Starting as a vocalist and songwriter, I secured major publishing and record deals with international songwriting success. As my career evolved, I transitioned into artist management, development, music publishing, and A&R, specialising in nurturing emerging talent. I've had the privilege of working on high-profile shows like X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, and America's Got Talent, and have consulted for renowned music labels such as Universal, Virgin Records USA, and BMG.Advocating for the Northern creative sector is close to my heart, as I've returned to my roots in Wakefield, West Yorkshire after years in London. Alongside my other endeavors, I run a boutique publishing company through Kobalt. Hosting popular writing camps and setting up sessions across the UK, Nashville, and Los Angeles, I've built an extensive catalog and network.Currently, I'm the director of Reimagine Records, collaborating with major rights holders Hipgnosis Songs. Together, we create contemporary versions of hit songs to enhance their value in today's market across various platforms, including sync and commercial releases.In addition to music, I've gained diverse experience in television, branding, and post-production. I've worked at notable companies like Ascent Media (now Deluxe142) and Soho Film Lab, contributing to projects such as James Bond: Quantum of Solace, Prince of Persia, Shameless, and The Katie and Peter Show. I've also had exposure to brand advertising during my time at The Beanstalk Group London.Education is another passion of mine, and I've lectured at various universities, including Leeds Arts, Tileyard Ed, Bassingstoke College, Kingston College, and Huddersfield University in Barnsley.
