Working out of the Digital PMO Transformation Office, I was assigned to a series of Procurement projects with a strong emphasis on project governance and hygiene, ensuring compliance with all formal project management standards and best practices. I managed highly visible initiatives, meticulously tracking milestones, resourcing and budget and maintaining accurate forecasting to drive project success.

In this expansive role and reporting directly into the ANZ Managing Director I was tasked with linking the Company's strategic objectives to departmental and/or individual projects or activities. A member of the ANZ Country Leadership Team I was responsible for improving the Company's performance through promoting a planning based project management culture, identifying continuous business improvement opportunities, and promoting a workplace culture that welcomed curiosity and change.I developed business cases for local, regional & global approval; I prepared and presented Business Strategy Briefs; I coordinated Business Review Meetings and contributed toward Leadership Offsite Meetings; I provided sound counsel, three dimensional thinking, operational advice, and execution tools in times of organisational restructure, Go to Market activities, and major change initiatives. The visibility of this role across the end-to-end business enabled me to provide holistic and valuable intelligence to key business decision makers.

Tasked with consolidating 2 Sydney based offices into a centralised location, I was directly responsible for the Site Assessment, Business Case Documentation & Approval, Design Management, Infrastructure and Furniture, Relocation and subsequent Decommission of the previous sites. I appointed and lead 12+ specialised Work Streams comprising 50+ contributors in which to execute the relevant work. I was the primary Communications Lead and provided regular briefings to the Leadership Steering Committee and the ANZ Organisation. I successfully partnered with multiple external providers, and managed the Project Plan, Budget, Risk, Quality, EHS and Change Management outputs. Reporting to the combined Managing Directors for both Merck Healthcare and Merck Life Science the successful approval of the Relocation and delivery of the Merck branded fit-out won acclaim and recognition throughout Merck globally.

In partnership with the Healthcare Business Unit Heads I identified the areas for improvement and refinement for the VEEVA CRM strategy. These gaps were subsequently addressed through an external VEEVA Architect. I supported the build of a stronger, more agile CRM for the business, that would provide the necessary transparency and data to ensure tailored sales strategy and communications. Reporting into the ANZ Head of Commercial Excellence.

Responsible for the project management, negotiation, contract management, evaluation and compliance of all Third Party spend on behalf of Merck Healthcare and Merck Life Science, Australia & New Zealand. Reporting directly into the Head of Group Procurement for APAC.

This specialised role was developed to manage the operational and procurement projects necessary to deliver efficiencies and streamline the Business Services function, on a specific assignment basis. Reporting directly into the ANZ Managing Director for Healthcare, projects included an events partner tender process, event alliances review (procurement & agreements) and a two-step office renovation.

Responsible for the merging of operational talents into a centralised business services function (i.e. post a down sizing of teams), I successfully steered a team of five to effectively deliver operational projects, in addition to overseeing the routine administration, travel, events and front office functions. Direct reporting line into the ANZ Managing Director.** Stepped into the Pharmaceutical arena post a redundancy with Charles Schwab.

My primary focus was a major tax re-certification project that impacted a vast majority of clients who held Individual, Joint, Corporate and Trust accounts. The documentation was complex and required particular attention to each client's trading and profile circumstances to ensure full compliance. The project required hands-on management and support within the account services, account administration, communications and compliance area’s.** Returned from Maternity Leave in a Project Administrator capacity for the Broking arm of the same Firm.

This role was purpose created to provide visibility of company-wide Projects at a time of significant growth. Through effective reporting and people management I supported the successful and timely delivery of our ‘leadership' core projects. I was responsible for documenting the project management process, and introducing and maintaining a project management culture to the organisation. In addition, I both steered and participated in several key projects, being directly responsible for Project Scope, Task Identification, Stakeholder Management, Procurement, Risk Mitigation and Budget control.** HUBB Financial Group merged with optionsXpress by Charles Scwab

Responsible for the growth, development and operations of the Safety in the Market brand, I directly managed teams that ranged in size from 3 to 25. I traveled extensively Australia wide, to the US and India. I assisted with the development of an Indian business arm, directed US based campaigns, and managed the delivery of in excess of 200 live and online events annually. I steered the annual budget and drove marketing campaigns to generate maximum results.** Promoted internally to a Project Manager role for the Corporate Leadership Team.

I managed the teams and outcomes associated with the Operations, Events, Reception, Customer / Client Services, and Payment Processing departments (9 personnel). My experience was all-encompassing, with responsibility for Recruitment, Induction, Training, Appraisals, Re-structure management, Process & Procedure, and the Quality and Improvement of department outputs.** Promoted internally to a Business Unit Manager role for the Safety in the Market brand.

** Promoted into a broader Customer Administration & Operations Manager role within 9 months of the merger.

** Held varying roles with Safety in the Market over a 4 year period, to then be promoted into an Administration Manager role post the merger with The HUBB Financial Group in 2001.
