In my role within the Innovation and Design team I have brought strong project management and a research perspective to the development of new products and tools ensuring that they are delivered on time and to specification, robust and evidence based.

The NHS Institute is an organisation established to seek out best practice and make it daily practice in the NHS. It acts as a focal point for new ideas, technologies and ways of working that will improve NHS services. My role at the NHS Institute was to support the project teams by conducting and commissioning research and evaluation to provide the evidence which will support our work process and product development.

NHSU aimed to provide learning opportunities for NHS staff at all levels. My role at NHSU was a wide ranging research position which included responsibility for commissioning and managing large scale evaluations of learning programmes and services, identifying learning needs within the NHS (short term and longer term policy implications), conducting scoping exercises on current training provision and disseminating the results of research to a wide variety of stakeholders.

NOP World Health was a large international agency which conducts market research in the pharmaceutical sector. At NOP I managed multiple, large, national and international, qualitative and quantitative projects using a variety of methodologies. My everyday activities included proposal writing, client liaison, project management, moderating, report writing and presentation of results. My particular interests included diabetes and internet research methodologies.

My role at Adelphi Group Products involved project management and dissemination of results of large scale, quantitative market research projects in a variety of disease areas, most notably, arthritis and bipolar affective disorder.
