• Sales; quotations and showarounds for potential clients across two conferencing sites; Coventry Transport Museum and the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum. • Planning and delivering conferencing and events at both sites, liaising with clients, managing caterers, external suppliers and front of house to ensure exceptional event delivery. • Briefing, management and motivation of staff to deliver events, which exceed client expectations, to encourage repeat booking. • Problem solving within three challenging public-facing buildings.• Financial management; costing and quotations, management of event expenditure and profit and loss, budgeting, invoicing and departmental reporting to senior management team. • Responsibility for facility operations throughout events in particular first aid, risk assessments, emergency responses for visitors and collections, health and safety and licensing requirements. • Liaison with a wide range of stakeholders from the general public to visiting dignitaries.
