The job role involves working the bar during concerts, requiring me to work well in pressured and fast paced environments. I learnt the essentials of bar work, pouring pints and maintaining happy and polite customer service. My work at the octagon required table service at certain business awards or dinners for NHS staff.

I successfully established a business instagram account with a focus on self love and skincare. I maintained affiliate partnerships with relevant brands and companies, resulting in a total revenue of £15,000 generated for one company through affiliate commisions.This led me to develop strong photography and video editing skills, utilising Adobe Creative Suite and Canva to create visually appealing and on-brand content.This job allowed me to make connections with brand owners and other 'skinfluencers' in the community through a personable online presence and etiquette.

This role requires me to give talks and speeches about my degree subject - English Literature. I applied to do this role to encourage other prospective students to pick the degree. I myself was very nervous to choose english as I worried about its limitations in the job sector. After working with lecturers to make my presentations and discussing with the careers people on my course, I realised the transitional skills that English sets us up with and wanted to make this very clear to other students hesitating about an Arts subject.

I worked here for two months across summer. The role involved kitchen/ chef work, counter and till service, opening and closing the centre including being responsible for clean down at the end of each day. The work was demanding and entailed 40 hour weeks, but gave me lots of experience in cooking, serving, working a till, cleaning. It also allowed me to complete food hygiene training.

I crafted articles on a range of topics, demonstrating strong writing skills, attention to detail, and adherence to editorial guidelines.I demonstrated organisational skills by managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring all work was completed accurately and on time.I also adapted to new software programs and technology , demonstrating proficiency in a variety of programs including Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
