I am a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Studies and a Minor in Philosophy. I am currently continuing my education at VCU and pursuing a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning with an Environmental Planning concentration along with a Certificate in Sustainability Planning.I have grown in my passion for equitable, environmentally sustainable, and economically viable public policy and urban planning through my roles at the Virginia Senate and Department of Energy as well as my current role at the Virginia CDFI Coalition. I hope to use my education and experience to shape the future of our cities to give people of all backgrounds the opportunity to thrive in their communities.
