Emma Tlapek is a Customer Success Specialist at ClickView. Colleagues describe her as "Emma and I joined ClickView at the time of the company's launch into the US market. While well-established in Australia, ClickView was a new entrant in the US and this was very much a startup environment, complete with all the unseen challenges and opportunities that often seem to come out of nowhere. Despite this, Emma has proven herself a highly capable leader both in customer success but also in the many other roles where she stepped in to provide support.
It became clear to me early on that our customers simply love Emma. On a recent tour of our upstate New York consortia customers, Emma was repeatedly singled out for praise by library directors, who were adament we know just how great she was to work with. In particular our customers appreciated how Emma tenaciously - but respectfully - guided districts to complete important setup tasks to get the most out of the product. One customer lamented how vendors will often sell them a service and then leave it up to the consortium to do all the follow-up. With Emma, half the districts were already set up and using the product by the next follow-up call.
Emma also has a curiosity and growth mindset which has helped her become a powerhouse in customer success. As a former teacher, Emma has a solid grounding in the pedagogical applications of our product. But she has worked hard to ensure her technical knowledge is just as sharp. Most notably, Emma took it upon herself to learn the complex steps in setting up single sign-on with multiple providers, as this shortened the sale-to-use cycle significantly, and allowed her to troubleshoot without having to transfer customers to another department. This was not required of Emma, but she did it anyway - because that is what professionals do.
I should also note that Emma has been a great support for me in promoting and selling ClickView. She has always been ready to man a trade show booth and has a clear, compelling way of communicating the value ClickView provides to US customers. In a small local team with a big time difference between our US and Auatralian HQ, this kind of versatility has been extremely helpful."
