Blooming Founders is an entrepreneurial community of female founders, proving support and help on their startup journey. The home of the Blooming Founders community is Blooms London, a new business club, co-working space and events venue.My role included as Head of Operations was instrumental in the launch and establishment of the Blooms London, Old Street space. I was responsible for logistics, site management and community engagement.As Head of Events I was responsible for external venue hire, bookings and scheduling. I provided hands-on service delivery of events, consisting of people management, event hosting, and food & drink sourcing and stock management.This role included the delivery of Startup&bloom conference, where I provided the 'behind the screens' magic and smooth delivery of the 2 day event. Including co-ordination with the venue, exhibitors and the recruitment and management of all the volunteer team.

The WE.events platform was created to open the dialogue around social issues. Educating and creating solutions that lead to positive lasting change. WE. events created awareness, motivation and supported people to act sustainably for real change. Driven to create more inclusion and collaboration through education.

An introductory course in back-end programming in Python. The course involved the basics of object orientated language, external APIs and a group project creating a website, focusing on real-time updates on political marches by integrating a twitter API.

An introductory course into the basics of front-end computer programming in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Git, GitHub collaboration. Using these languages we created a website, called iSpyPi (https://njh3890.github.io/), to inform others of alternative hangouts, with content crowdsourced by the readers. My contribution to the project focused on the CSS and user design of the website.

Voluntary part time position within the students’ association with the responsibility to oversee all financial transactions and operations within societies and events and chair the Finance Committee. Responsible for the management budgeting and revenue, reviewing all funding applications; allocating resources; invoicing; short and long term budgeting and forecasting. Directly involved in co-ordinating and organising events such as Freshers Week 2015, playing a key role in party planning, organising venues, negotiation, event management and problem-solving within tight deadlines, and liaising with the university, students and external parties.
