About Emma Valero

I began my work experience at tech start-ups located in downtown San Antonio that helped me find the passion I have for digital marketing. I tried a little bit of everything when it comes to marketing (landing page optimization/design, email marketing, organic social, paid advertising, traditional media, etc.) as well as spent some time in customer success before I truly dove into digital marketing. My past experience in Customer Success has played a role in my development in the marketing field by providing me with critical client-facing experience as well as leadership experience. I have spent the last few years becoming a specialist in my field working mostly in paid social and paid search. I have collected experience in B2B as well as B2C marketing across many different industries including health/fitness, real estate, SaaS and more. A skill of mine that has become most important in the last 5 years is adaptability. Switching industries, roles, team structures, companies and more has led to an exciting and fast-paced few years. Outside of marketing, I have interests in fashion, entrepreneurship and data analysis. While it may seem like a random slew of interests, there is one common purpose behind each of these interests. I love to learn. Whether it be learning how to program, web design, or use statistical analysis software, I challenge myself to learn new things every day.
