As a student at The Ohio State University, majoring in Political Science and Public Leadership, Management, and Policy, while studying at the John Glenn College of Public Affairs, I have gained a strong foundation in political theory, public policy, and governance. My experience as a farmhand helped me develop key soft skills like hard work, teamwork, time management, and attention to detail, while my internship with Goff-Mitchel Consulting gave me hands-on experience in political consulting, campaign strategy, and community engagement. I learned the intricacies of managing campaigns, building networks, and organizing grassroots efforts—all of which have sharpened my problem-solving and communication skills. My long-term goal is to work in the policy-making process, where I can help craft legislation that brings about lasting positive changes in people’s lives. I am passionate about promoting fairness and transparency in government and am eager to contribute to developing policies that create equitable opportunities for all. Through my education and practical experiences, I aim to build a career focused on advocacy, civic engagement, and public service.
