-Provided research evaluation support for the National Forum for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention Move with the MayorTM programming and a research group at the University of Regina including quantitative survey design and analysis, qualitative interviews, case studies and report writing.-Provided grant-writing support for Indigenous non-profits, Native American Tribes, minority serving institutions and other emerging non-profits. Composed grant reports for federal and private funders, including USAID and NIH, managed timelines and authored grant submissions.

-Established cross-sectoral partnerships to promote increased data access and improved quality of mortality data for Tribes in the region. -Developed close partnerships with six colleges, two state professional associations, and one state vital statistics office. Presented at the American Public Health Association annual conference.-Led a project team to develop trainings and presented to over 250 funeral directors collecting public health data for death certificates.-Managed subrecipient contracts with six Tribal partners and provided technical assistance including Qualtrics survey development, program design and evaluation, and health communication campaigns.-Conducted qualitative public health infrastructure assessments with six Tribal partners to assess implementation of essential public health services and locally identified data challenges. Developed interview guides and project methodology, produced reports and summary materials for distribution to community.-Secured over $500,000 in new funding by authoring grant submissions and composed grant reports for federal funders.

-Coordinated a sequential randomized control trial evaluating the effectiveness of two brief, culturally grounded interventions for Native American youth suicide prevention-Developed and maintained a REDCap study database, monitored data quality, tracked participant progress managed Institutional Review Board and Data Safety and Monitoring board requirements, and prepared annual reports-Worked collaboratively with five tribal partners to implement and evaluate a community-wide suicide surveillance and case management system-Served as lead evaluator for two sites overseeing qualitative and quantitative evaluation activities-Co-authored academic publications and grant submissions totaling $4 million in new funding.

-Conducted evaluation activities for a narrative and story-telling program for youths in inner-city Atlanta and rural Ohio that seeks youth perspectives on pressing problems and solutions in their communities -Managed, collected and analyzed data for two quantitative surveys and fifteen qualitative interviews to analyze how the program translates into tangible benefits for youths, community members and local decision makers

-Created a social behavior change communication strategy and participatory nutrition education curriculum as part of a joint nutrition-agriculture project to be delivered to 15,000 rural households over four years-Managed a process evaluation to assess implementation after one year of program implementation including designing an evaluation protocol, managing the project budget, supervising four data collectors, liaising with local stakeholders and preparing reports and presentations-Developed a five-day training-of-trainers curriculum for lay health personnel on complementary feeding principles, participatory methods and project activities-Coordinated and executed a qualitative formative research project to assess barriers and facilitators of optimal infant and young child feeding practices; developed focus group and interview guides, supervised data collection, and conducted data analysis using MaxQDA

-Designed curriculum materials, created evaluation surveys, and recruited community partners to host prenatal education seminars for women in low-income communities in the greater Atlanta and Augusta areas -Presented at the Georgia Public Health Association Annual Meeting and other public health conferences on the state of maternal and child health in Georgia

-Managed data for a project to implement a functional multi-sectoral nutrition system within the government structures of four sub-Saharan African countries, which included documenting and sharing best practices, challenges, and lessons learned-Transcribed over 100 planning meetings and interviews and qualitatively coded data using Atlas.Ti to identify core challenges and functional requirements of implementing a multi-sectoral nutrition system

-Created and managed a series of interactive data-driven maps used by executive leadership to assess current services and determine areas of high-need where FBSJ will focus their expansion efforts-Supported coordination of the Summer Food Service Program including: recruiting meal sites, promoting the program at community meetings and special events, managing 102 partner sites, supervising volunteers and meal preparation, training program staff, and conducting site monitoring visits
