- Leads new editorial product development, including the expansion of our daily newsletters, the creation of a membership program, and a city guides team.

- Serves on leadership team during expansion of Axios' local news initiative, building from 1 outlet (Axios Charlotte) to 24 and counting. As of H1 2022, Axios Local has over 1 million readers.- Manage teams of reporters and editors across the country.

- The national media company Axios acquired Charlotte Agenda in December 2020 as part of its launch of Axios Local and promoted me to Editor of the rebranded Axios Charlotte.- In my role, the editorial team grew from four to seven people, adding new roles such as an investigative reporter and a things to do reporter.- Continued to contribute as a reporter focused on food, culture and travel.

- Coordinated content production across all platforms, including our newsletter, website, Instagram and other social media outlets.- Grew our Instagram from 179K followers to 240K in one year with informative and essential posts related to the COVID-19 pandemic and Black Lives Matter protests.- Wrote and/or edit more than 10 stories a week for our website, which receives an average of 1.5M page views per month.

- Managed an editorial team of four, plus a roster of about 20 freelancers, as the youngest city magazine editor in the country.- Assigned, edited and wrote 20-30 stories in each monthly edition distributed to 115,000 readers.- Led production of popular packages such as Charlotteans of the Year and the Best of the Best Awards.- Investigated and exposed a local networking group called EatWorkPlay CLT for shady practices, including hosting charity events without ever making charitable donations. The report was the publication's most popular story that year.

- Joined the team as a full-time editor and writer after a couple years as a freelancer.- Responsible for the largest section in the magazine called "The Good Life," which featured real stories from Charlotteans, cultural events, home tours and more.

- Began working for the magazine during my senior year of college as a freelance fack checker. I started writing for the magazine once I moved to Charlotte after my graduation in June 2016.- In summer 2017, I spent multiple weekends in Lumberton and Pembroke, North Carolina, where I interviewed survivors of Hurricane Matthews and pulled their experiences together into a 4,000 word feature.

- Managed a series of internal and external newsletters for the book distribution company.- Wrote and edited press releases and other marketing materials.

- Wrote both print and online features for the statewide publication.- Fact checked, assisted with events and completed other tasks essential to the flow of the monthly magazine.
