The College of Arts at the University of Toulon is one of the largest colleges on campus. It has developed solid partnerships with fellow university colleges around the world to promote year-long or semester-long study-abroad student mobility opportunities and staff and teaching mobility. Supporting student and staff mobility is listed as one of the priorities in our international strategy. Teaching mobility agreements provide faculty members from Toulon and member institutions the opportunity to collaborate in the partial design and teaching of a course. Each year our faculty members invite visiting professors to lecture in the framework of their planned courses (Auburn University and the University of Indiana at South Bend, among others). In order to diversify our professors’ expertise and our students’ learning outcomes, I am responsible for : -reaching out to different faculties and schools within the Univ of Toulon and our partner institutions to identify faculty members interested in participating. - issuing invitations, scheduling the placement of courses in our students' schedule, offering advice and services covering all aspects of planning and managing the visiting scholar's stay in Toulon. - facilitate joint teaching programs and open doors to possibilities for future collaborations.

I act as the main point of contact about the internship procedure and requirements and preconditions of our senior students' internship-abroad program. I offer support and advice in helping students find an interesting and challenging internship assignment.

The University of Toulon has developed a wide range of international programmes, among which 13 degrees delocalized in Vietnam. These collaborations are part of a long-term and historical relationship with the University of Tuong Mai (TMU) in Hanoi, Vietnam and enable Vietnamese students who so wish to benefit from a double course at the end of which they will obtain, in addition to the degree from the University of Tuon Mai, the degree from the University of Toulon.As the director of the Bachelor's Degree Program in Tourism Management for TMU in Hanoi, Vietnam, I am responsible for the overall integrity and coherence of the programme, including managing teaching staff and budget, organizing yearly teaching appointments, and responding to our Vietnamese partners' queries. My ultimate objective is to ensure that the desired programme outcomes and objectives are delivered.

Reporting to Vice Provost for International Affairs, and in close collaboration with the Study Abroad Office at the University of Toulon, I oversee the international partnership agreements process enacted by the University with entities abroad, represent the University of Toulon to host universities, and am responsible for fostering and solidifying long-term relationships with current and prospective Colleges and Universities in English-speaking countries.My responsibilities include:- Promoting study abroad and teaching opportunities for students and faculty at the University of Toulon (UTLN).- Facilitating and coordinating UTLN partnership negotiations with English-speaking universities and institutions.- Marketing the full load of program offerings from the University of Toulon during international recruitment trips.- Developing customized English (or French) language programs for international students as well as programs on other content areas (business, engineering, sciences, the arts, and the like) for international groups (Summer school or Maymasters included).- Designing marketing materials and social media initiatives for the promotion of the University internationally in support of the recruitment effort.- Supporting new study-abroad program development initiatives and evaluating agreement requests to ensure they are in keeping with the Univ. of Toulon's overall guidelines.

Chair of the Departement of Modern Languages Applied to Business at the University of Toulon, in the College of Arts and Humanities. This departement (the largest in the College of Arts and Humanities) counts 60 Lecturers, Associate, or Full Professors and around 500 students at the undergraduate level.

The responsibilities of this position include helping students establish solid learning objectives for their 2-month senior-year internship abroad and mentoring students throughout their internship experience abroad. Before their departure, the students are expected to meet with the coordinator for pre-departure seminars. These seminars cover cross-cultural communication, CV and Cover Letter preparation, personal safety, international security and how to maximise the international internship experience. For the department of English, I have designed and taught a course entitled "ENG T-190: Southern Gothic and Literary Hauntings."👻 Rationale : Haunted houses, monsters, ghosts, madmen and madwomen, specters, vampires, and a wide variety of other creepy, mysterious, and dark things fill our semester’s texts. This course gives us the opportunity to read and compare works that employ haunting or spirit possession as a central motif. In it, we consider how and to what extent storytellers use ghosts and haunting in their narratives. Among the questions we asked: why is American Literature, and Southern Literature in particular, so enamored with the ghostly, the ghastly, the monstruous and the supernatural? Because ghosts figure prominently in many canonic literary texts, we looked at literary hauntings in order to think about the silences and the omissions that ghosts can make visible. What effect does the supernatural have on us as readers? What’s the appeal?

🕵️‍♀️ Advising prospective study abroad students by providing academic advising to undergraduate and graduate students to supplement faculty advising.🕵️‍♀️ Addressing student academic and study abroad concerns and provides referrals to campus ressources. 🕵️‍♀️ Building links with other university offices and support services such as International Student and Scholar Programs, the Center for International Programs Abroad, the TOEFL, SAT or GRE ressources centers, etc. 🕵️‍♀️ Assisting with academic orientation activities.

Teaching classes of English for Specific Purposes (Anglais de Spécialité) in order to meet the specific needs of the learners at the University of Perpignan (Business English).The Business ESP class was centered on the language appropriate to the future professional activities and to using English as Lingua Franca to doing business. Special focus on vocabulary and topics used in the worlds of business, trade, finance, and international relations. The object of the course is efficient and effective communication: developing the communication skills used in the workplace, and the skills needed for typical business communication such as presentations, negotiations, meetings, small talk, socializing, correspondence, report writing, and so on.

- ESL Classes and Developmental English classes for science-majoring students:Special focus on types of writing: besides the student essay required in college classes, special emphasis is given to academic research articles, research reports, writing for professional purposes. Additional focus is put on the social situation of writing, with special consideration to audience, purposes, and communication strategies.- Introduction to Professional Writing: designed specifically for non-English majors (in a Master of Science degree) who will need to develop their English writing skills to use in a myriad of professional careers, including medical writing and editing, corporate communication, pharmaceutical marketing, and many others. This course examines rhetorical theories, genre expectations, writing, editing, and information design skills that form the basis of a professional writing career.
