My career spans several decades in tech related roles from sales support, sales manager and president/CEO. That long journey has provided me with a deep appreciation for the power of ideas, passion, vision and perseverance in technology sales and solution crafting. My goal is to attract the best employees, business partners and customers into a continually evolving best-in-class solutions ecosystem underpinned by Internet related technologies. Enabling indirect channel sales with VARs/MSPs, Independent Consultants/Agents and Enterprise accounts for solutions to computing and telecom/network problems are fundamental to these goals. Establishing strong and lasting relationships are my forte.I got my start at the dawn of the PC industry selling Maxell floppy disk to CPM and Apple II Plus computer dealers. That lead to many great opportunities such as being an independent sales rep for the VisiCalc spreadsheet application, which was the #1 PC application years before Microsoft gained popularity. In the early 80's the computing network was called "SneakerNet", which meant you walked a floppy disk [with data] down the hall and put it in a coworkers PC floppy drive to exchange data! Now we send the equivalent of 100,000 floppy disk of data in 1 second over a Gigabyte connection. In the 2010-11 timeframe I launched a channel SaaS platform years ahead (i.e., too early) of today's major players in the alternate technology channel space. Internet related technologies are at the core of my focus today where 4G/5G/6G Wireless Internet ,SaaS, IoT, Cloud and Security services promise unbridled opportunities. Civically, I work on transportation and economic development initiatives in the greater Washington, DC and Baltimore region sitting on several committees and boards. Hobbies and interests include Health-Fitness, Gardening, Bee keeping, Cosmology and Physics (minus the math), Family, Friends, music, guitar, Church, and Civic involvement.
