"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the will to continue that counts."- Winston ChurchillI am currently a grad student working towards a Masters of Historical Studies at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. For my undergrad I did a double major with both History and Geography and Environmental Sciences BA (GES). In addition to my undergrad, I was apart of Phi Alpha Theta, the historical honors society. While we were not able to host any in-person events, we were able to organize online discussions and movie showings related to the history departments studies. During my undergrad, I had the absolute pleasure of being an intern with the Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum for the Summer of 2019 and the Baltimore Orioles in Community Development and Communications department Summer 2021. On the other side of academics, I am an athlete for the UMBC XC and Track and Field team. Every season for both XC and Track, I’ve competed and placed in the events of the 5k, 6k, and 10k. For every XC season, I have gone to both Conferences and Regionals. Currently, last XC season, I placed 20th in the conference while running the second fastest 5k time in our school’s history. Additionally, in the past Track and Field Outdoor season, 2021, I ran the 4th fastest time in our school’s history for the women’s 10k. I proudly commit myself to my passions both on and off the field. I always dedicate my time and effort where needed, so know that no task is too great or small for me to tackle.
