Current2003-present Program Supervisor – Brown Street Gallery BoutiqueDuties:Administering, organizing and implementing individuals programs, training and supervision of 9 direct service staff and 30 individuals. I oversee a budget of more than $600,00.00.I ensure all services are in accordance with agency procedures, state licensing, federal and state labor regulations, funding agency requirements and CARF standards. In 2006 our program put in an art gallery and retail space, so my duties expanded. I began to curate, frameand hang individuals artwork, plan and host 4-6 openong receptions a year as well as managing salesand ensuring that individuals receive proper payment. Marketing in the community and putting art in local buissnesses, as well as attend various community arts and crafts fairs. In 2008 we had our first funddraiser “Together we can Make a Difference” and I have been on thatcommittee every year. Some of the duties include managing event staff, coordinating volunteers, and renting linens, glasses etc. for the event, as well as choose and prepare menu items. The last 2 years I envisioned and executed a VIP room for sponsers with food and wine.
