Since creating and running a first-of-its-kind trauma facility at the age of 26 and becoming a bestselling author, my illustrious career has seen me support thousands of clients across the globe.

I founded The Recover Clinic in the early 2000s, originally as an outpatient centre in central London - specialising in trauma, shame, anxiety, depression and eating disorders - for women over the age of sixteen. This was the first of its kind in Europe. We responded to the increased demand for remote treatment by creating an online therapy, coaching and mentoring service, adapted from our hugely successful treatment model; enabling us to grow the team and begin supporting individuals worldwide struggling with a variety of different issues. Following further business growth, in mid-2022, we made the transition to being 100% online. What made The Recover Clinic unique from the start is that we provided bespoke programs using a combination of evidence-based counselling and psychotherapy modalities, proven coaching and mentoring strategies, mindfulness and spiritual practices. We reached out to people, rather than a diagnosis and we worked collaboratively to create holistic, inclusive and tailored treatment plans that consider not just a mental health condition, illness or disorder, nor the presenting symptoms, but also who that person is, their hopes and dreams, and what their specific needs might be. We supported our clients to move beyond harmful coping strategies, nurture a more compassionate relationship with themselves, physically and mentally restore their health and wellbeing, develop key life skills and independence, and embrace who they really are. Our approach had always been massively impactful, with over 90% of clients sustaining recovery once they have graduated from The Recover Clinic.In September 2022, I retired from my role as CEO of The Recover Clinic to expand my International Transformation Coaching business.
