As a Research Development Software Engineer at Chainstack, I worked with cutting-edge blockchain technologies. My responsibilities included researching different blockchain protocols and developing custom solutions for our clients.Here are some of my notable accomplishments:- Conducted thorough research on The Graph and created documentation and tooling to simplify testing and integration with our platform- Designed Chainbench, an open-source tool for benchmarking blockchain infrastructure, which has become a standard instrument for internal performance testing- Developed helm charts for automated and reproducible service deployments- Conducted research on various topics related to TON, Avalanche, Bitcoin, and other blockchain technologies, providing valuable insights for our Product and Sales teams- Gained hands-on experience in blockchain node deployment, bootstrapping using snapshots, and cross-cluster data transfer.My analytical problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly were crucial to my success in this role.

As a Python developer, I was part of a 15-person team responsible for a distributed backend system with over 500 instances. During my time on the project, I accomplished the following:1. Designed and implemented a system to collect application metrics and send them to various backends (Prometheus, StatsD).2. Configured Grafana dashboards to monitor system status based on the collected metrics.3. Updated two large APIs on NodeJS (HAPI) to the latest framework version and merged them into a single codebase for easier maintenance.4. Participated in migrating a large codebase to Python 3.5. Increased the unit test coverage of our application's core functionality using pytest.As I gained experience, I was entrusted with creating additional microservices in our ecosystem. In addition to writing code and tests, I also communicated with clients, wrote technical specifications, designed application architecture, selected technologies, wrote documentation, and decomposed and distributed tasks related to the development of these services.Examples of services I created include a service for validating cryptocurrency addresses, a high-load proxy on Go with the ability to rate limit and flexibly whitelist requests to multiple backends (later adding support for auto-discovery for backends based on Consul), a service for interacting with providers that perform compliance checks, and a Telegram bot for ad-hoc monitoring and alerting.I also participated in developing coding guides and introducing additional tools, including mypy and black.

At La a Sports, I took on the challenge of replacing an outsourcing team as the sole developer. The startup aimed to connect people with sports they love and act as a marketplace for workout sales. My role involved a wide range of responsibilities, including: 1. Developing scripts to automate marketing tasks, such as creating special offers and adding/changing products in bulk.2. Expanding the API to smoothly transition to a new website version.3. Updating Stripe integration to enable payments in different currencies.4. As a developer for a startup, I participated in several products developed by the team during a short period. My responsibilities included:1. As a member of a team of 4 developers, I contributed to developing solutions for analyzing satellite imagery. In 3 months, I achieved the following:1. Completely rewrote a microservice for generating satellite images and migrated it to Python 3.6 from 2.7.2. Developed a snapshot testing tool that compared images generated by the old and new versions of the application.3. Optimized API response times for accessing the information on available images.4. Introduce ELK stack for centralized log collection of all laboratory services.

My first commercial experience as a Python Developer involved enhancing the administration panel for a Telegram bot. The bot enabled academic administrators to communicate with students more efficiently by allowing them to notify students of important events, edit class schedules, and view usage statistics.
