ERIC MARK OLSON now a long time resident of New York City, has spent the last 10 years working as a Stage Director, Choreographer & Educator in NYC and around the country, directing and choreographing both children’s and adult professional plays and musical theatre productions including: Next To Normal, Croaker: A New Musical, Me and Violet Brooks, A Brand New World, Iago Is Dying, The Bronx Zoo, Providence, Frankie & Zel, Entangled, Fish in A Tree, Chaundria & The Giant, The Door To Home, A Pie-Rat’s Tale. EMO is a proud AEA member and has appeared in numerous regional productions including My Fair Lady, Sunday In The Park With George, The Secret Garden, The Merry Widow, CATS, HAIR, Into The Woods, Ragtime, and Chaundria & The Giant. As an educator, EMO strives towards building a community of self-aware and respectful artists who celebrate individuality in an environment of personal discovery. His goal: students will acquire a zest for discovery, using tools for theatre and creative play that will lead them towards a lifetime of learning.
