Developed and implemented multifaceted communications plan for urban college of education that raised the college’s local and national visibility and supported recruitment and development efforts.• Managed the redesign and launch of the College of Education’s website two times within four years. Wrote and organized new content. Coordinated messaging goals of the administration, faculty, and the website production team.• Wrote and developed stories/news for website, alumni magazine, and newsletter.• Developed brand image through collateral materials, key messages and other outreach efforts that supported recruitment efforts..• Fostered and strengthened relationships with faculty to bolster internal communication.

Developed and implemented communications strategies for a national non-profit organization that advocated education reform in public schools by strengthening a network of nine cities and increasing the visibility of local leaders. Developed website, wrote monthly e-bulletin, managed the production of all publications and products, and planned large national conferences.

Coordinated the quality assurance and evaluation effort for institution that provided education and training programs for low-performing public schools in Chicago.
