I am a multi-instrumentalist specializing in percussion, drum set, marimba and piano, and have been professionally serving the music community for 20 years as a dynamic performer, passionate teacher and music theorist.While studying intensively under world class percussionist Robert McCormick, my career began as a front ensemble technician at Land O' Lakes High School under the supervision of Vincent Parulli. After making a Carnegie Hall debut with the National Wind Ensemble under the direction of H. Robert Reynolds, my musicianship was in high demand across the state of Florida and I performed with world renowned artists: Aretha Franklin, Marie Osmond, Johnny Mathis, Mannheim Steamroller, Susan Lucci, Maureen McGovern, Tommy Tune & the Manhattan Rhythm Kings, Don Rickles, Michael W. Smith, Dennis DeYoung, Jodi Benson, Bernadette Peters, The Irish Tenors and BeBe Neuwirth. I have also performed as a percussionist for professional touring Broadway performances of: Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Full Monty, My Fair Lady, as a substitute percussionist and timpanist with the Southwest Florida Symphony, and have numerous recording credits with the McCormick Percussion Group published under the Ravello Records label.In the summer of 2003 I toured and performed in the front ensemble with the 7 time world champions The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps - a season that culminated in a 2nd place finish for the corp at the 2003 Drum Corp International world championships.In July of 2017 I relocated to Texas to take advantage of the limitless possibilities as a music educator in the greater Houston area. During that time I served as an Adjunct Professor of Music at San Jacinto College where I taught American Popular Music and served as a front ensemble technician for various schools in Klein ISD, Cypress Fairbanks ISD and Magnolia ISD as well as an instructor of private percussion lessons for 6 schools within 2 districts.I currently teach piano, percussion and music theory at Claudia's School of Music where I have a growing private lessons studio of 60+ students per week. I am also currently becoming a self-taught composer of music with emphasis on digital audio production.
