JSA is a partnership between the Southeastern Universities Research Association, Inc., (SURA) and PAE Applied Technologies.As a member of the JSA Board of Directors and its Operations and Safety Committee, Dr. Chenoweth contributed to the achievement of Department of Energy science goals through a disciplined approach to laboratory operations and business management that enabled the delivery of discovery-level science for the nuclear physics user community. During his tenure on the JSA Board of Directors, JSA and the Jefferson Lab worked closely with the DOE Office of Science and the Office of Nuclear Physics to complete the Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility's (CEBAF) 12 GeV upgrade.As an active contributor to JSA's management of the Jefferson Lab, Dr. Chenoweth aided in the adaptation of industry best practices in project management to a laboratory research environment, thereby delivering efficiencies that resulted in additional resources for science research.
