• We Are UK 2013, is a K Week event that showcases the University of Kentucky's uniqueness, culture and talent through food tastings, student organization tabling, and a non-competitive talent show that was emceed by Carl Nathe. • Event attended by 4,000 new and current students • Collaborated with the university's Catering and Dinning services to create a menu that showcased food from other cultures as well as Kentucky Proud items. • Worked with the Physical Plant Division in order to orchestrate the events set up and tear down.• Partnership created with the Office of Sustainability to create the universities first Zero Waste event, through recycling and composting. • Manage faculty, staff and students who performed in the talent show and tabled at the expo.• Created an event schedule and logistics for performers and volunteers.

-Assist in planning K Week, the University of Kentucky’s Welcome Week with 250 events for 6,000 new and transfer students; and the semester-long K Crew Peer Mentor Program. -Recruit, select, train and supervise 500 student leaders for a year round mentorship role. Coordinated “We Are UK,” a cultural appreciation event attended by 4,000 plus students that includes a talent show, food tasting and vendor booths for 35 organizations. -Created content, designed and implemented a training manual called the K Crew Handbook. I create and implement large and small-scale training's, programs and events relating to K Week.I created the K Crew Handbook to be used be all 500 student volunteers to guide them through their K Week responsibilities.
