Helped to maintain long term data sets, by doing field work, lab work, and data entry. Projects were mostly focused on water quality, but I also collected habitat restoration data and data on invasive species. Duties also included maintaining equipment, such as calibrating, cleaning, and changing parts of YSI sondes. Field work was either done from a boat or at very remote sites. I also did much of the data entry for the projects that I worked on.

Duties included evaluating specific sites for different water quality parameters, collecting and preparing samples, using equipment such as sondes and auto-samplers, taking flow measurements, and performing surveys for environmental parameters such as trash, algae, wildlife, and more. Site evaluations were eventually done without supervision and performed independently.
