Whether in print or online, a design is a result of finding purposeful, creative solutions to any given problem. I find that the best thing about this process is the opportunity to collaborate and brainstorm ideas with team members thus engaging various points of view, experiences, and insights to arrive at possible solutions.In a team or collaborative environment, I get energized by working with people from different disciplines and specialties. This helps add to my own personal experiences from which I can draw inspiration in my problem-solving. Beyond graphic design, I am an illustrator in both traditional and digital mediums, as well as a motion designer.While I derive tremendous satisfaction in design, I am an accomplished painter and have book designs to my credit. Having designed logos, brochures and annual reports in my career, I have developed a keen interest in book design and illustration and hope to someday get an opportunity to illustrate book covers and design books for publishing.
