Customer Support Team Lead
As a team lead, I am acting Manager on Duty when my senior manager is not available. We share responsibilities, however I also continue with senior support responsibilities, documentation, training, interdepartmental communication, team meetings, and customer escalations. We are a B2B SAAS with four platforms. I handle cases simultaneously for three out of the four. Working on learning the fourth so further expand my knowledge. Our platforms fall in the range of Marketing Automation and Online Communities. I enjoy coaching, having one on ones and helping my team grow. I live by the following values: Positivity, going above and beyond, efficiency, and hard work.
Customer Support Specialist
I work on assisting clients with business to business IOT as general support for two different platforms, working with the graphic design team, and starting a new project with retention for a specific client.
Senior Customer Support Representative
Account Manager
I moved to our Sales department in November of 2018 from being a Product Specialist. This role includes added responsibilities like retaining customers who are interested in breaking their relationship with the company, extending contracts for existing customers, closing accounts, transferring ownership of accounts, troubleshooting and resolving issues to save accounts when technical support has a long wait time, rebuilding value in our product and service for unhappy customers, and suspending billing for customers undergoing financial difficulties. Although not being in this position very long, some of these responsibilities were a part of my initial job description as a product specialist from 2016-2017 in addition to technical and customer support before my current department took over all of these responsibilities. Before switching over to this department, I was the top support representative for 2018. My previous support knowledge, my drive to do what's best for the customer, hard work, and doing my own research on different competitors in the industry has helped me meet and exceed goals set in this new department. I take pride in all of my successes, always enjoy learning more, and welcome challenges. This new role has allowed me to expand my knowledge of the industry from a sales and support aspect, as well as exercising my ability to find different ways to achieve company goals on my own.
Product Specialist
I work at Frontpoint servicing customers who need help with their home security systems over the phone. It is not just about answering the phone and troubleshooting home security, home automation, and video surveillance equipment, to me, it's about helping people resolve their technical issues so they can feel comfortable and their families stay protected. I also transitioned to the billing team temporarily in order to assist the billing department. During my tenure at Frontpoint I have happily assisted in training and coaching representatives in both the support and billing departments. I am dedicated to moving forward with the company and enjoy assisting others in achieving success not only for themselves but to also ensure our customer service exceeds our customers expectations.
Spanish Teacher
I gave private Spanish lessons to 3 different age groups. Group 1: 3-4 Group 2: 5-6 Group 3: 12-13. I created my own lesson plans, curriculum, and syllabi. Maintained communication with parents and provided tools to practice at home, advised of their child's advancement/performance, advised of any homework assignments.
Entertainer
DJ, KJ, Face painter, Clown, Photographer, games host, and office administrator. As an entertainer, I was specifically requested for several events including recurring contracts because of my skill set and ability to liven up the party. As an office administrator, I found clients, answered the phone, created company flyers, responded to company reviews, and booked clients for all services provided. I also trained new entertainers and created video tutorials to assist with virtual out of the office training for new hires.
Keyholder
Food Server
I was a server here intermittently and concurrently while working other jobs starting in highschool up until I left DC to attend GMU in 2014. I worked as the sole breakfast server, lunch server and bartender, delivery driver, and night time server.
Manager
I started my management training at Petco in Virginia while the Unleashed by Petco chain was being built. Here I learned the processes of opening/closing the store, inventory checks, animal care, cash register management and more. Once my training was complete in Virginia, I assisted a Petco in Washington, DC that had just underwent flooding with going through all inventory to asses damages, assisting employees in their work duties, assisted with restocking new inventory and relocating inventory. When the first Unleashed by Petco was built in two Maryland locations, I assisted the store managers in setting up the new stores and training new employees. Finally my location in Georgetown, Washington DC was ready to be stocked. We stocked all new inventory, trained new employees, opened/closed the store, regular inventory checks, check in deliveries, lead team members with special projects, enforce all policy and procedures, assist with customers, deescalate situations, provide approvals, and register overrides.
