Provides advocacy for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, and dating violence at the individual and system level. • Assists victims of crime when requested by law enforcement at crime scenes, hospitals, or other safe locations; provides support, referrals, and information related to crime victimsí rights and victim compensation information and applications. • Complete client intake forms; document services and referrals provided; conduct thorough case management on all cases to include follow-up contacts. • Work closely and interact with detectives, deputies, patrol officers, supervisors, service providers, and other advocates, governmental agencies, and the general public to ensure a survivorís rights and needs are addressed. • Provide back-up to for volunteer advocates and volunteer back-ups on a rotational basis with other SASS program staff. • Maintains good working relationships with other agencies. • Responds to cases of sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, and dating violence during and/or after business hours for shifts not covered by volunteers, on a rotational basis with other SASS program staff.
