Young producers and music enthusiasts didn't have access to quality resources about music production and audio engineering. I wanted to change that.So, I rolled up my sleeves and started my own YouTube channel. From learning the art of professional video creation to mastering social media management and content creation, I dove into it all. My little project has grown into something I'm quite proud of - a channel with 34K subscribers and 4.5 million views, making it one of the largest channels in its category in Turkey. I manage it all from my music studio, my very own man cave, right here in Sweden. But it's not about profits or fame - it's a labor of love. After parting ways with Viablock AB, I landed a pretty sweet gig with Folkuniversitetet Mitt, in collaboration with Uppsala University. Our music studios had to close for over a year, and without that daily interaction and creativity, the job just wasn't the same.So after eight years, I decided it was time for a change. I dusted off my student cap and went back to studying, this time focusing on refreshing and expanding my programming knowledge and development skills. Since August 2022, I've been diving deep into software engineering, .Net development, and system development.But that's not all – I'm also working on a passion project: audio software development. Using my programming skills along with my music and audio engineering knowledge, I've been creating software that hopefully, I'll be able to share with the world soon. As much as I loved music, the constant travel and weekends abroad were taking a toll, especially when my little girl came into my life. So, I decided to return to what I knew best – tech, programming, and design – all from the comfort of my own home.My first project back was a game-changer for restaurants. The idea was simple: use LED TVs to showcase daily menus and lunch offers. But it wasn't enough for it to be simple, it had to be innovative and user-friendly too. So, I built a web app where restaurant owners could log in, update their menus, and have them up on the screen in a flash.On top of that, I took on the management of over 20 websites for various companies. Everything from design updates to coding, I was on it, honing my skills in WordPress, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.The company had its most successful year, and we were just starting to test prototypes in volunteer restaurants. Unfortunately, life threw us a curveball – my boss lost his wife, and we had to halt the project. Had we continued, I'm certain we would have rolled out one of the most innovative restaurant tech solutions of 2014. So, I focused on getting to grips with everything. My work topped charts, and I became a force to be reckoned with in the world of electronic music.All of this was a long way from my tech days back in Turkey, but it was an incredible journey that I wouldn't change for the world.
