In this job, I have gained experience in designing, implementation, test, verification and documentation of power supply, AC/DC EMI filter and miscellaneous analog circuitry of REWIS products.Power supply design includes:*) power conversion from AC or DC power source with either COTS power modules or discrete element converter design (Some combinations of analog/digital controlled, voltage/current mode controlled, buck/buck boost/flyback DC-DC converter/interleaved boost PFC AC-DC converter have been implemented with discrete elements)*) PCB layout design*) simulation of power converter stage*) communication with other boards via RS422/I2C/CANBUS*) implementation of pre-defined scenario via microcontrollerEMI solutions, MIL Standards and filter desing includes:*) AC and DC EMI filter design for our power supplies (almost always discrete element design)*) compliance with military EMC standard MIL-STD-461*) compliance with military standard MIL-STD-704-1275*) compliance with RTCA-DO-160 standard*) commom mode and differential mode filtering techniques*) iterative test and verification of EMI filtersMiscellaneous analog circuitry includes:*) Optimum LC filter simulation/design/implementation/verification for RF power amplifiers having serious pulsating current*) output current protection circuitries (for bus voltages supplying power to N many loads)*) soft start circuitries with hot swap controllersMoreover;*) unit level power distribution design experience*) engineering notion on problem solution approach during unit/system integration processhave been gained.
