Hello, I am Emrah Subaşı. My foray into the tourism sector commenced in 2006, marking the beginning of a rich and diverse career path. My initial years were characterized by a comprehensive immersion in the hotel industry, where I worked across every conceivable department. This broad exposure provided me with a solid foundation and a deep understanding of the intricacies of hotel operations, guiding my decision to specialize in the front office department from 2008 onwards. My dedication to mastering front office operations led me to serve as a front office night manager in a renowned hotel group in Antalya Kemer for two years. This experience was pivotal, enriching my expertise and preparing me for the next significant chapter of my career. In the closing months of 2009, I relocated to Istanbul, a move that signified my transition into more prominent roles within the industry. In Istanbul, I had the privilege of serving as the front office supervisor at the city's pioneering resort hotel, Klassis Resort and Klassis Golf Hotel. My journey continued with a key role in the opening team of Titanic Business Bayrampaşa in 2012, where I was instrumental in establishing the front office operations until 2014. Following this, I took on the role of front office supervisor at Sürmeli Hotel Istanbul, further cementing my reputation in the field until the end of 2016. The evolution of my career saw a significant transition when I was appointed as the front office manager, and later hotel manager, at Jazz Hotel. My leadership was further acknowledged when we expanded our hospitality portfolio to include Molino Hotel Kaş in 2021, making me the general manager of both esteemed properties. My entrepreneurial spirit also led me to co-found Bi’Konuk, a consultancy firm in 2022, which now provides expert advice to 8 hotels and 16 villa owners, showcasing a commitment to excellence and innovation in the hospitality industry.Travel and cultural exploration have been integral to my personal and professional growth. Having traversed 60 provinces in Turkey and visited 16 countries worldwide, I have cultivated a deep appreciation for the nuanced tapestry of global cultures.These interactions not only enrich my understanding of the world but also enhance my professional acumen. My ambition is to continue this journey of exploration, seeking out new countries, cultures, and friendships that will broaden my perspectives and inspire my career in the tourism sector.
