About Emre Ates
Emre was born in 1980 in Ankara, growing up in an entrepreneurial family where his early exposure to trading began as soon as he could add numbers. He holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the prestigious Middle East Technical University in Turkey.A passionate racer, Emre won the Red Bull Go-Kart Endurance Championship for his university in 2005, which led to the opportunity to race at the iconic Le Mans 24 Hours.In 2006, Emre moved to Romania, where he briefly explored his engineering background. However, his true passion lay elsewhere. In 2008, he joined P&G Marketing, Balkans, managing multiple brands across the region. During his time there, he successfully launched Olay and managed well-known brands like Wella, Wash&Go, Ariel, and Head & Shoulders.After six years in the corporate world, Emre decided to leave the corporate glass tower behind. He founded Brands on Board in 2014, embracing entrepreneurship and building a new chapter in his journey.
