Began my journey in the TRT World Talent Program. Placed into the news department as an output producer. Roles include: - Chasing breaking news as it comes - Work in high-pressure environments to create accurate and compelling news- Work alongside multiple teams including the news desk, interviews, executive producers, and program editors to produce high-quality and precise stories- Write presenter copy for ULAYs, SOTs, and package introductions- Identifying newsworthy stories for a global audience- Preparing news graphics in different formats to make storytelling more interesting- Writing/editing news packages - Working in various teams including Newsfeed where our focus was on producing stories through the prism of social mediaTransitioned to the Business Team with roles including:-Chasing daily business/finance stories-Acquiring elements for news stories on the field in Istanbul -Voicing, presenting, and writing news packages-Storytelling using different formats including graphics -Presenting in front of the camera - doing PTCs and as-lives

Conducted data processing to evaluate trends and KPIs on a 5 week long research project. Learnt advanced use of Google sheets and Google Data Studio to visualize and organize data as well as interpret trends. Produced reports relating to Covid-19 and student alcohol consumption in high school. Wrote a blog to convey my findings and key insights.

Conducted various tasks at Justice Action involving research and analysis on key issues pertaining to legal cases that we dealt there. I also participated in key conferences with various government parties involved as well as management roles to ensure the daily tasks were completed. We wrote and edited key policy papers and legal documents to present our legal cases to court and various lobby groups.

Trained as a Barista, making various coffees and drinks most of the time in high pressure situations dealing with multiple customers at one time. Multi-tasking, communication, speed and efficiency were skills that I had to acquire in order to adapt to this role. Developed customer service skills in a highly demanding environment often engaging with customers in a meaningful way, as my teacher taught me, engaging with customers is half the experience, the other half is the coffee. Handled cash and responded to tasks given improving my team work with my coworkers.

Worked as an English tutor for year 11 and year 12 students as well as a maths tutor for primary school students. Required to summarise and present knowledge of the English and Mathematics curriculum in a way that was not only relevant but also engaging. I paid attention to the minor problems and issues and worked with the students to better strategise to overcome these problems during their studies. Major achievements: - I worked closely with many students who prior to coming to my classes had an indifference to learning english. Through my teaching experience with them I was able to promote English as a subject with a new perspective and helped them achieve better grades as well as a more wholesome experience during their studies in English- Deployed weekly testing strategies for my maths students to observe areas of needed improvement and development

Worked as tutor for English, Studies of Religion and Economics primarily for year 12 students. Needed to succinctly and relevantly present my understanding of each subject as to create an environment where the students are able to better engage with the content. For instance, in English I would often relate the themes and ideas to present day affairs and how relevant these themes are today. I would help my Studies of Religion students grasp the intricacies of religious rites and practices and the meticulous meaning of these practices; this helped them gain a deeper insight into the different religions they studied. In economics, I often broke down complex theoretical ideas like market structures, economic monetary and fiscal policies to stabilise economic activity and trade and financial flows in a way that students understood and realistically saw applied in the physical economy.
