Currently I am a Club Manager at a football club (Kayserispor FC) that my friends and I have created, registered on FA and playing at a division 2 Sunday league. The team has been created with the help of sponsors that we have found from local shop owners.

I have a commitment to delivering real value to a tight timeline on a variety of challenging and exciting refurbishment projects ranging in value from £20k to £250k+. Dealing with multiple projects at one time I work tirelessly to ensure each project is delivered on time and on budget. Managing multiple assets across Scotland and the North East and ensuring they adhere to all regulatory and legislative compliance. Implementing all relevant H&S inspections and managing any remedial works that are required.

Dealing with a range of customers on a daily basis and handling anything from general enquiries to setting up contracts, upgrades, and complaints, in a face-to-face store environment. Suggesting products that customers may be interested in and setting up contracts for the customer’s needs are also part of this role. Helping promote the company and informing customers about services that could suit them. Store bonus targets boosted by individuals with high value sales.

WJ offers a complete service ranging from design, installation, testing and maintenance for all aspects of dewatering & groundwater control. The role has led to my involvement in major infrastructure projects such as the Thames Tideway Tunnel and the HS2 project. My role in WJ as a Site Engineer has a diverse range of responsibilities to ensure the job runs smoothly both for the client and WJ. I have worked on a HS2 site at Old Oak Common have moved over from the Thames Tideway Blackfriars site as we have completed our tasks for the time being there, until we start dewatering for Blackfriars towards summer 2019.

Solmaz Ltd is a carpentry specialist building contractors, where I worked over the summer to gain experience. I was placed at a site in Covent Garden where three existing buildings were to be connected and conversion into 16 flats including a 3-floor penthouse. I gained experience, chasing orders and ordering materials for site, scheduling agendas for client meetings, supporting the Project Manager and Architect in order to deliver a successful project. I have developed skills preparing written estimates for clients based on materials, equipment’s and other expenses. Also, visiting site to evaluate the progress and to respond to customer’s questions and concerns.

Premier Rouge is a specialist wedding caterer, the job was done in a very organised, fast pace fashion, there were several skills I have learnt at this job, working as a team, delegating tasks, supporting team tasks, monitoring the team’s performance, helping with training and development, helping to hire new staff. Depending on my shift I was working independently and giving critical decisions to meet task within set time, and communicating effectively with the team. In addition, the key part is communicating with the customers really well as the workers reach to me, to solve out the situations with the customers to guarantee satisfaction. Also, being to a high level of professionalism was a significant part of the job.

Main duty consisted of watching the cash flow forecast and handling cash. Working with an interior designer gained knowledge of understanding how to be creative with ideas, solving problems and coming up with solutions and understanding what the client wants.
