About Emre Samurlu
Software development enthusiast.My excitement, which started when I met computers at a very young age, has never diminished. The fact that I couldn't study computer science at university didn't deter me from this path. With my own efforts, I eventually started working as a software developer and learned a lot on the way. The first thing I learned was that learning never ends. Every day I spent in this field made me a more passionate software developer.I took my first step in this field by completing the mobile bootcamp I attended with Inavitas, the sponsoring company, which I still continue to work with. It is impossible to describe in words what I felt when I completed my first project with React Native. As I continued to develop applications, there were some questions I asked myself. I wonder how this data is moved to the frontend, where is it stored? With the courage of knowing Javascript and with the support of my managers, I started to learn NodeJS. Of course, it didn't stop there. Then I continued to expand my knowledge by learning PostgreSql, Redis, RedisGraph.I can summarize what I have learned in the past two years and the technologies I actively use as follows. I developed various projects with React Native/Typescript and of course many third party packages (eg: react navigation, redux, redux toolkit, react native maps, firebase, etc.) in the mobile area, and Nodejs in the backend. Inavitas React Micro Frontend App: - I am a part of the team involved in the development of all modules in the micro frontend project developed with React.In this application, we are developing a new design and micro frontend architecture instead of our existing react application. Many technologies such as Fabric.js, Mobx, Redux, React-Query, Zustand, Webpack, Sass are actively used.Inavitas React Web App: - I took part in the development of the graphic editor module in the web application developed with React.This module can instantly monitor the energy flow through single line diagrams created by users, send commands to relevant units, and display data that is updated every second with server sent event technology.Inavitas Prosumer Mobile App and Plant Mobile App: - I developed an application with React native where users can instantly monitor energy production and consumption facilities.Thanks to this application, users can view instant energy production/consumption data, income/expense amounts, and daily and monthly production/consumption graphs without the need for a computer. In addition, when alarms created in the system give warnings, the user is notified with instant notifications.In this project I used third party packages like echarts, react-navigation, redux, redux-toolkit, notifee, formik and more.Backend Projects: - I took part in many backend projects and developed RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express. In our projects developed with micro service architecture, we are using Docker, Jenkins and Rancher to monitor the release processes of these services. I actively took on the task of maintaining five different backend services.In these projects, we actively used PostgreSQL database and cache mechanisms such as Redis and RedisGraph.
