About Emre Balci

As a trained chemical engineer, I worked as a product manager at a food company in Turkey for seven years. Then I got the opportunity to work as a project manager at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in Turkey. After that, I wanted to get into the IT industry and worked as a Software Tester in an IT company for about two years. During these activities I was able to gain a lot of experience in quality assurance. In addition, I have expanded my knowledge by participating in certificate programs on job-related topics throughout my working life.Here in Germany I wanted to continue my professional life in the IT industry, which I started as a manual tester in Turkey. After having my engineering degree recognized and successfully completing my German course, I started an SDET IT course called “Full Stack Software Tester”. In this training we learned all the necessary tools for test automation and manual testing and, as interns, we simultaneously carried out the projects using agile methods as a team.With 10+ years of experience in quality assurance, I am now looking for the next challenge as an ISTQB certified software tester.
