Emma is on the Global News Innovation team within News Partnerships at Facebook. In this capacity, she drives global news investments and video strategy. Previously, Emma was Director of Business Strategy and Development at Verizon Media, leading revenue operations across the News, Entertainment, and Lifestyle properties. In this capacity, she demonstrated her ability to negotiate business-critical deals, lead through organizational change, operationalize cross-functional initiatives, and model business opportunities. Energized by using data to inform decision making, Emma is motivated by problem solving and building structure. Post-MBA, Emma brought her analytical mindset to American Express, focusing on market research to support the Merchant Services organization. Emma spent the early part of her career at Analysis Group, an economic consulting firm, where she supported leading academics experts in litigation matters through robust data-analysis and case team management. She received an MBA from Columbia University and a BA from Bowdoin College.
