M.Sc. Researcher | VLF Electromagnetic Waves & Space Plasma Physics | Forging Process Development EngineerI am currently pursuing my master’s degree at Koç University under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Umran Inan as part of the Stanford University VLF Group. My research focuses on generating, propagating, and scattering Very Low Frequency (VLF) electromagnetic waves in the Earth's electrical environment, particularly in the ionosphere and magnetosphere. VLF waves, generated by natural sources like lightning and artificial transmitters, are used as diagnostic tools to study plasma processes in the Earth's upper atmosphere. My work involves experimental observations and theoretical modeling of lightning and whistler phenomena using DSX satellite and GLD360 data.In parallel, I work part-time as a Forging Process Development and R&D Engineer at OMTAŞ Automotive, focusing on innovation in forging technologies. Additionally, I have gained valuable experience through internships at TUSAŞ and PARSAN, where I contributed to projects in UAV landing gear design, hot forging processes, and heart valve production. Combining my industry experience with academic research, I aim to bridge the gap between engineering solutions and scientific exploration.
