I am a Certified Public Accountant with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from University of San Jose-Recoletos. I have been working as a Senior Accountant at IQ-EQ, a leading global investor services group, since August 2022. My core competencies include applying International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting, and implementing process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.In my current role, I perform monthly closing of books, which involves identifying and correcting errors, reconciling accounts, reviewing accruals, recording amortizations, and providing highlight reports to the Financial Planning and Analysis Department. I also assist the Fund Management team in preparing financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections for various funds and clients. I have developed strong skills in using various accounting software and tools, such as SAP, Oracle, and QuickBooks. I am motivated by the challenge and diversity of working with different fund types, industries, and jurisdictions, and I enjoy collaborating with my colleagues and stakeholders to deliver excellent service and value.
