As the Director and Principal Scientist of Outcomes Research at Merck, I lead the Value &Implementation Outcomes Research (V&I OR) for global real world evidence for in-line and developmental drugs. With over 11 years of experience in this role, I collaborate with cross-functional teams, company affiliates, public affairs, medical education, and research labs to ensure the alignment of outcomes research and real-world evidence strategies with marketing and clinical objectives in key countries.My mission is to deliver patient-centric outcomes research that supports the value proposition and access of world-class innovation. I have a strong background in epidemiology, biostatistics, Pharmacoeconomics, and clinical pharmacy, as well as a master's degree in international business. I have developed and executed innovative outcomes research plans, including retrospective database studies, patient-reported outcomes, epidemiological studies, and economic modeling. I have also published multiple peer-reviewed articles, presented at international conferences, and received several awards and scholarships for my work. I am passionate about integrating patient-centered outcomes and value assessment into product development design with scientifically robust health economics and outcomes research.
