Omnicell is a leading supplier of automation and business analytics software for medication and supply management across the entire healthcare continuum.As a Senior Systems Engineer, my primary responsibilities were to help automate the server and application installation that had previously been manually performed by their manufacturing department. By building an unattended install that took only 35 minutes to complete and could run 20 concurrent installs (versus 4), I was able to improve their server build time by more than 900%. Additionally, this was my first exposure to software development and working directly within a Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Nortel was a multinational telecommunications and data equipment companyAs a Senior Technical Consultant, I was responsible for a variety of technical projects and activities.►Exchange integration project: migrated mailboxes, public folders and distribution lists from a legacy Exchange Org Shasta Networks into Nortel's production Exchange Org.►Domain consolidation project: Migrated 1,500 Shasta user accounts into Nortel's Master Account domains and 2000+ machine accounts into their appropriate resource domains. I also Reset ACLs on NetApp filers and NT/Win2k fileservers using third party tool.►Extended backup and disaster recovery plans and processes to meet new SLA specifications required by Nortel.
