Developing a full stack web app using React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Prisma for a local nonprofit food pantry in order to keep track of inventory and demographics of volunteers and food pantry recipients.

At the SWE chapter at Tufts University, I manage the club email and send weekly, informative emails to the e-mailing list regarding upcoming events and opportunities for the Tufts engineering community.

Contributed to the open source Eclipse PDE UI component, a platform that provides tools to create, develop, test, debug, build and deploy Eclipse plug-ins, fragments, features, update sites and RCP products using Java and HTML. Refactored multiple files in the Eclipse PDE codebase to resolve inconsistent styling of UI labeling and format in accordance to the E4 editor.

As a youth intern, I worked in the customer service team at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. I maintained careful records of company return mail by inputting customer information into company software for fellow employees to reference. Furthermore, I presented well-executed updates about customer outreach to management and departmental advisors and proactively addressed assigned action items.

On the Student Advisory Board, I organized multiple student-led workshops on college accessibility and best practices for first generation students to private school administrators for SMART's annual First Generation Conference. Furthermore, I developed and procured higher education, internship, and volunteer resources and information for first generation students within the organization.

As a social media and policy intern, I created and disseminated timely and engaging content about anti-Asian hate, effectively raising awareness and educating the public across various social media platforms. I was also an active contributor to writing policy recommendations for SFUSD and LAUSD, aiming to ensure safe learning environments for Asian-identifying students amidst COVID-19.
