I'm a senior Legal Director and Compliance & Security Operations Lead at AVAYA (a well known multinational technology company) and highly motivated UK qualified lawyer, with dual nationality (English & German). I endeavour to combine strategic business leadership with corporate governance, risk management, operational excellence and transaction execution, across my work. I drive business performance to ensure achievement of objectives across international regions and functions and enjoy being part of an effective team, within a supportive culture.Reporting directly into the Associate General Counsel, International, in Germany, I work collaboratively, managing teams in the UK, and India and support the business in the UK, Ireland, Israel, Nordics, Australia and New Zealand. My role is far reaching - both in terms of geography and responsibilities. I work hard at my management role and take time to closely mentor and coach each member of my team. Energising the workplace culture to generate the best results is a priority and I've been rewarded with regular promotions, as a result. Recently, I was invited to part in the Extraordinary Leaders Program at AVAYA. With a career that spans more than 16 years’ strategic, business and legal leadership, my day to day responsibilities include focusing on commercial activities and working closely with HR, sales, finance and the wider operations team. Colleagues tell me that I'm the ‘go to’ lawyer who's helped shape legal processes and strategies on behalf of AVAYA. I really enjoy being a generalist and lending my support to all projects across this fast paced company. I like 'getting under the skin' of a business and its people too.
