🌾 Hi there! I'm currently navigating the fascinating world of agriculture as a graduate research assistant at Louisiana State University AgCenter. My focus revolves around soybean production and the intricate dance it shares with sulfur dynamics.🔍 What am I up to? Well, I'm exploring the effects of reduced natural sulfur deposition (thanks to the "Clean Air Act") on soybeans. Currently, I'm knee-deep in a study involving 6 different sulfur fertilizer rates and a mix of 5 sources – all aimed at optimizing soybean response.📊 So, what's the game plan? Analyzing mehlich-3 soil sulfur values prior to planting, tissue samples, and sensor readings at R2 stage, keeping a watchful eye on yield responses. It's a puzzle, and I'm here to decode it!🎓 Oh, did I mention I'm on a Master's journey at Louisiana State University? It's a thrilling ride, and I'm trying my best to cope with it.🚜As a Graduate Research Assistant at Macon Ridge Research Station of LSU Agcenter I've been actively involving with other research work as a part of the team. I am involved in spatial and temporal variations in soil sampling, soybean deficiency diagnosis, and in-season fertilization of soybean corn and cotton. I am also a part of official variety trials (OVT).🚀 What's next? The dream is to dive deeper into soil fertility along with interdeciplinary approach in agriculture and working with the different fields like plant pathology, entomology and a Ph.D. seems like the next logical step.
