I have worked around the world on international brands such as General Motors, Kodak, Nike, Virgin, Sony, Unilever and YKK and others.I work in the commercial sector as a photographer, producer answering creative briefs and in the arts sector as a visual artist, creative producer / director making projects exploring issues of identity, displacement & belonging.Originally a professional photographer, I moved into directing to become a multimedia artist and producer. Some of my art projects have been showcased around the world in leading galleries such as the American Institute of Architecture, The Barbican, Guggenheim, Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), Royal Festival Hall, Museum of Contemporary Design and Applied Arts (MUDAC).I am a partner at Underbelly where we conceive, design and direct moving images, short films, idents, promos, large scale installations and other communication solutions for brands, agencies, and institutions.I am also co-founder of OITIJ-JO Collective. A 'charity' that works to create platforms for and champions Bangla creative practitioners through public events, workshops and training in East London.
