I am a gender expert, researcher, and trainer. I am working on gender and the elimination of gender-based violence for more than 12 years. Now, I am the Co-Founder and COO at RES Solutions. In December 2018, I became the Executive Director and Head of the Board of Trustees for HarassMap until July 2020.I received the Master’s degree in Gender and Development in 2018 from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University, in partnership with International Development Studies (IDS) Sussex University, UK. I also received a Diploma in Research and Development from the Faculty of Statistical Studies and Research Studies, Cairo University. Moreover, I have a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University.I have has more than five years of experience in designing workplace policies for businesses with different sizes to grant zero-tolerance towards sexual harassment, bullying, and discrimination at workplaces and create a safe working environment. Besides, I develop and delivers training on anti-harassment, bullying, gender, gender-based violence for universities, organizations, and corporates in Egypt.In 2017-2018, I was responsible for building partnerships with private and public universities in Egypt to stand up against sexual harassment and adapt anti-sexual harassment policies. Besides, I worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at the National Heart Institute Fellows AssociationSince 2008, I have participated in more than 25 research studies related to health, education, human and women’s rights, gender-based violence, and sexual harassment. I worked as a researcher at the biggest research center in Egypt, Al-Zanaty, and Associates, then I joined the American University in Cairo’s Social Research Center and HarassMap.
