I worked for Allied Irish bank for 8 years in retail banking in Dublin. I then moved onto a new challenge as a wealth consultant for DeVere group in the middle east.DeVere group are the largest independent financial consultancy in the world with offices in over 70 countries. DeVere has over 83,000 clients and in excess of $10 billion under management and administration.My aim was to provide the best advice I can to the expatriate community that are living and working in Dubai. Its very important to make the money you work hard for grow over the long term. Offshore planning is an essential and very effective way to build and plan for your future either in retirement or education planning for families. I built a very strong portfolio in Dubai and shared the advantages of what I do with as many expatriates in the middle east.After my great experience in Dubai and learning about the offshore market I have returned home. I am currently working as a AML Team Manager and developing my banking career further with one of the United Kingdom’s leading retail banks Royal Bank of Scotland. I hope to broaden my knowledge and experience in the financial world and progress as quickly as possible in a bank with great opportunities.
